Product Manager (Part Time – 2 days per week)
We require a passionate, energetic, and motivated part time Product Manager who thrives within a lively sales environment and wishes to develop their sales career further within the IT sector. This role working two full days per week is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation and help build the partner community with your set of vendors within our Product Manager team. You will work closely with other sales professionals, technical teams, and channel partners to maximize sales opportunities and achieve sales targets.
You will be responsible for driving sales of your allocated vendor’s products through various channels, developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets, by proactively making outbound calls to potential and existing customers understanding their needs and providing customised solutions. To do this, you will need to develop a deep understanding of vendor’s products and services to effectively communicate benefits and features, and conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends, always working closely with the marketing team to develop related strategies. In addition, a key part of the role is providing training and support to resellers and system houses on your allocated solutions.
You will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, preferably experience within enterprise software or the IT sector, and the ability to understand and articulate technical product features and benefits. Equally importantly, your strong negotiation/influencing, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills, will have enabled you to create and develop effective customer and vendor relationships. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is of course required.
In addition, to a good basic salary this part time position has excellent commission opportunities / benefits and holds genuine prospects to accelerate your career. The working hours at our Newbury office are 9.00am – 5.30pm (there is some flexibility over the two full days worked) so candidates should have a reasonable commute to our Newbury office.
