Macrium Reflect 8 Reaches End of Life

Macrium has announced the End of Life (EOL) for the Reflect 8 product family. Support for Reflect 8 Standalone and Site Manager 8 will end on 27 February 2026, with several transition paths available to help customers move to supported solutions without disruption.

Customers with active Support & Maintenance can now move to Reflect LTSC, a stability-focused edition based on Reflect 8.1. This version is designed for environments where reliability is the priority and will receive only critical security patches and bug fixes. Support continues as long as Support & Maintenance remains active.

In addition to LTSC, the following upgrade options are available:

• Upgrade to Reflect X – ongoing feature updates and innovation, with a 33% discount on 1-, 3-, and 5-year annual plans for Reflect 8 customers

• Technicians License and Deployment Kit trade-in – transition to the latest Reflect X-based technology at no additional cost on existing plans

• Upgrade Site Manager 8 to SiteBackup – move to Macrium’s modern centralized backup management solution with minimal disruption and continued development

Customers are encouraged to plan their transition to either Reflect X or LTSC to ensure continued support beyond EOL.
